The trip

The Futaleufú River valley in Chile is one of the world’s gems. The valley, which is approximately 1,500 kilometers south of Santiago in northern Patagonia, is famous for the rafting and kayaking community for its world-class whitewater.

The valley boasts much more than whitewater, with towering peaks, lush valleys, and welcoming locals. All these elements contribute to a remarkable setting for the adventurer.

This trip is a unique experience in the area. It is a journey to discover hidden places of the Fu and enjoy the river from a quieter perspective.

Three of our private camps in key location of the valley, will give you the opportunity to experiment each one of the activities from a privileged place. Designed to be in tune with the environment, these camps will surprise you with unique features and amazing views.

Multisport activities will enrich your trip, each one as part of a masterful composition, full of emotion, beauty and adventure. Each night you will enjoy a delicious meal and relax at the camps hot tubs, while we share anecdotes of this unique part of Patagonia.

Once in Futaleufú, we will go canyoneering in Arroyo Blanco (White Creek). After, we head to our camp to relax and enjoy a good meal and the hot tub overlooking Terminator rapid.

Our day starts hiking up to Tree House. A one-hour hike with spectacular views will take us to the top of a mountain where we will discover our new camp. We will find ourselves in a unique place with a series of tree houses interconnected by bridges. Here we will eat lunch and have time to swim in the lake, go kayaking, or relax at the hot tub right next to the lake. We will also have the possibility of hiking up to Condor hill, where condor sights are very common. Condors are typical birds of Chile with a wingspan of over 10 feet.

Once there, we will go to meet Mr. Beni, where we can learn a little more about the local culture and enjoy a delicious typical lunch. Later, we will head to Cave Camp, where we’ll enjoy fishing in the river and will have free time to explore our camp many features, including the little blue lake, the sandy beach, the wooden hot tub, the stone hot tub, and much more!
